Ask how the proposed collection equipment fits the depth, surfaces and access at your property. Equipment time and any later checks should be explained in the agreement.
Prepare the facts you know.
Give the street address and ZIP, affected rooms, approximate water depth, floor finishes and discovery time. Explain the source if known; identify uncertainty instead of guessing. Mention safe access, contents and who can authorize work.
Read the proposal as a whole.
Confirm assessment charges before booking. Review pickup tasks, room boundaries, contents responsibilities, exclusions and payment terms. Ask how additional recommendations would be priced and approved.
Ask for a useful handover.
Understand what moisture checks are proposed after visible water collection and what records can be supplied. Any further equipment time or return visit should have a clear charge and authorization.
